All about The Fairy Wedmother

I created The Fairy Wedmother after I encountered several issues with a friend’s wedding. Our wedding, by contrast, was pretty perfect (and the imperfections were down to my make-up artist not turning up, who happened to be singing for us – read the blog to find out what happened!).

I just couldn’t bear the thought of lovely wedding couples having problems on their big day that can be avoided either by the venue doing their thing with gusto and a smile, or by couples having the best possible plan in place.

I love to write, and I love weddings – it made sense to add the blog as part of the Fairy Wedmother world so I can share my love for all things wedding and with luck I aim to make the biggest day of your life one to remember….for all of the right reasons!

I have more than 30 years of experience in hospitality, events and weddings and I use all of that knowledge to create and deliver amazing wedding days along with my small but perfectly formed team.

If you’re a wedding venue and want to tap into my knowledge I offer several different ways to work with me. I specialise in independent venues but if you’re part of a group I’m happy to deliver a training day to all venues in your group.

Based in North East England we will travel so wherever you are you can have a Wedmother make your day extra special ♥
