“We got married at Hexham Winter Gardens in June 2018 and Lynda was utterly indispensable on the day. The venue was dry hire and we thought about trying to coordinate the day ourselves, with the help of friends and family, but soon realised how much work would be involved and that we needed help. Lynda was really easy to get on with and was full of helpful ideas during our pre-wedding chats. A meeting with her at the venue before the day was very useful and she helped us visualise how things would work on the day, prompting us to make decisions about many things we had completely overlooked!

On the day Lynda, Mike and Lisette worked tirelessly in scorching conditions, liaising with suppliers, turning the room around, stocking the bar, serving the buffet and more. They also tidied up at the end of the night so we didn’t need to worry about anything. Lynda is a very safe pair of hands to be in on one of the most important days of your life…. We can’t recommend her highly enough!”

“I couldn’t have done without Fairy Wedmother. I put a lot of faith in my venue and although they did deliver on the day, it was my Wedmother who picked on on things like the red carpet being a bit of a trip hazard, the floor needed a bit of a hoover and the tables were a little wonky – right where my wine glass would go!  I’m sure venues set up for a lot of weddings and might sometimes feel it’s a bit ‘samey’ – that’s why I was so grateful for my Wedmother. The rest of the day went without a hitch and we have wonderful memories of our special day. We highly recommend the service, not just to brides but to venues too. I only heard about my issues after the fact, the Fairy Wedmother service just did their thing and made sure I had the best possible day and the venue had nothing for me to complain about!. Thanks!”

“We had a Fairy Wedmother to help us put a plan in place for the day.  We were having a bit of a do-it-yourself affair and had no idea how to keep on top of things.  Our Wedmother showed us how to have an ‘event plan’ that would tell people where to be and what to do when. It sounds simple but the work that went into it was more than I could have anticipated and to be honest, I didn’t know where to start.  It meant we could allocate tasks to our friends and family (who were happy to help) and know that everything was under control.  Such a great idea, I had such a great day because I had peace of mind.”

This was true simply because the Fairy Wedmother and Mike took ownership of all the hitches and sorted a solution without even bothering us.
