Getting hitched this – or any – festive season? Now while we know you’ve got some awesome ideas, here’s a few fun things you could add to your day to increase the Christmas spirit and create a few lovely lasting memories along the way! Even if your wedding is THIS Christmas!
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
♥ Get yourself either of these beauties – depending on your personality go colour crazy or sophisticated fur! Christmas shoes….oh yes!
Shoes from Etsy
♥ Pick some holly – it can be found all over the place – and spray it with sliver paint and glitter, and use it to enhance your bouquet, decorate the end of your rows or pop it on the top table for some extra festive sparkle!
♥ Add Christmas items to your photo booth! Blow up antlers, Santa hats, fun glasses, Rudolf’s nose and of course, red glittery moustaches are a must!
♥ Get your wedding party festive socks! And underpants if you’re feeling brave! Either will make a great photo opportunity!
♥ Have fun Christmas straws for your guest’s drinks. They’re not just for the kids!
♥ Prepare a Christmas Crafts table where your guests can make their own decorations to remember your special day by. Ooh and you could add a ‘decorate your own’ Christmas cookie table too, with festive icing and red & green sprinkles
And finally, if you haven’t sorted them already, here are some great Christmas favour ideas!
♥ Make personalised mini Christmas crackers. Pop a special message for each of your guests in each one along with a silly joke you know they will appreciate. And possibly a mini bottle of gin/whisky/other spirit!
♥ Paint baubles and use them as both favours and place names
♥ And of course, there’s always personalised gingerbread men (or ‘people’ if we’re feeling like we need to be ‘correct’!). Everyone likes a nice nibble while they’re waiting on their dinner!
Oh, and don’t forget…it’s the perfect excuse for hanging lots of mistletoe all around your venue encouraging everyone to get snogging and share the Christmas Wedding love!
So there you have it – how to add a Wedmother festive touch to your Christmas or winter wedding, create some great keepsakes and stand out from the crowd ♥
